How DRIVUNO protects your files
Your files are encrypted on your device before they ever reach our servers. The key that unlocks them is derived from your password — it lives only in your browser, never on our infrastructure. We physically cannot read your data, reset your password, or recover your files for you.
If you have lost your password and you don't have at least one of the recovery methods below, your encrypted data is permanently inaccessible. This is the trade-off of true zero-knowledge: nobody — not even DRIVUNO, not a court order, not a hacker who breaches our servers — can decrypt your files without one of your own keys.
All recovery methods require a Security Code that only you saved at signup. Without one of them, your encrypted data cannot be recovered — by design.
