What a Drive ban blocks When an account is suspended, Drive access usually goes with it: documents you authored, shared folders you own, and anything collaborators reached through your links. Team members lose files they did not upload, and clients lose deliverables mid-project.

Reducing exposure before anything happens - Keep an independent copy of everything that matters, on a provider that is not part of the same identity graph. - Prefer a provider that cannot read the content: no readable content, no content-based enforcement. - Own your recovery material offline, not in the same account you are trying to protect.
