The Meta AI rollout is wider than the marketing suggests Meta AI is presented as an assistant. Architecturally, it is a model with a privileged read path into the surfaces it lives in: Messenger threads, Instagram DMs, Facebook posts, and increasingly WhatsApp metadata.
