What an NDA can and cannot do
An NDA gives you a claim against a named counterparty after something has already gone public. It does not reduce the number of systems holding a readable copy, it does not apply to the cloud provider's classifiers, and it does not help when the material surfaces anonymously.
The gap between the contract and the pipeline
Studios and agencies routinely sign strict confidentiality terms and then run the actual work through consumer clouds and readable chat products. The contract describes an intent; the pipeline describes reality. Auditors, publishers and clients increasingly ask about the second.
