Business texting from a real number — not from your personal phone.
SMS and MMS on your official DRIVUNO number, with threads, history and notifications inside the workspace your team already lives in.
“Clients text your business. Your personal number stays private.”
For freelancers, clinics, agencies and support teams who text with clients and want those conversations on a business number, in a business tool.
Built for confidentiality
Real SMS & MMS
Text and photo messaging with any phone in the world. No app, no account and no DRIVUNO required on the other side.
Your official number
Texts come from your business number, in the country and area code you chose — not from a personal SIM or a shared shortcode.
Team replies
On a shared number, every member can read and answer the same threads, so client conversations survive holidays and handovers.
Instant notifications
Incoming texts notify you in the app on web, desktop and mobile — exactly like a normal phone, minus the personal-phone mixing.
Threads and history
Conversations are threaded per contact with full history, next to your call log, inside the same workspace as the related files and chats.
Clear privacy boundary
SMS travels the public phone network and is not end-to-end encrypted — DRIVUNO says so in the product. Confidential threads belong in Rooms, one tap away.
Stop texting clients from your personal number
For most small businesses, 'business texting' means an employee's personal phone — mixing family photos with client threads and walking out the door with the relationship history. A DRIVUNO number separates the two: clients text the business, and the conversation lives in the workspace.
Texting that belongs to the team
On a shared number, an inbound SMS is a team event, not a personal one: anyone with access can read the thread and reply, and the history stays with the workspace when someone leaves. It is the difference between a company asset and a private inbox.
Honest about what SMS is
SMS and MMS cross carrier networks in the clear; no provider can make them end-to-end encrypted, and DRIVUNO prints that disclosure in the product instead of implying otherwise. For conversations that must stay private, DRIVUNO Rooms offers end-to-end encrypted messaging where only participants hold the keys.
Frequently asked questions
Are phone calls and SMS end-to-end encrypted?
+
No — and no provider can honestly claim otherwise for the public telephone network. When the other person uses a normal phone, call audio and texts pass through carriers in the clear. DRIVUNO states this openly in the product. For fully zero-knowledge voice, video and messaging, use DRIVUNO Rooms, where only the participants hold the keys.
Do the people I call or text need DRIVUNO?
+
No. Your DRIVUNO number is a real, official phone number. You can call and text any phone in the world, and anyone can call or text you back — it rings inside your DRIVUNO workspace.
Can my team share one phone number?
+
Yes. Any number can be shared with teammates. An incoming call rings every member at the same time and the fastest picks up; everyone with access can answer and reply to texts from the shared number, call-center style.
How many numbers can I have?
+
Up to 5 numbers per account, in the countries offered. You can mix personal and shared team numbers, choose the country and area code, and even search for specific ending digits.
What does it cost?
+
A flat monthly price per number, plus pay-as-you-go usage for calls, SMS and MMS. There is no carrier contract and no hardware — everything runs inside DRIVUNO on web, desktop and mobile.
Can calls also ring my regular mobile?
+
Yes. You can add your mobile number as a ring target so incoming calls reach your handset as well as the app, and you can release a number at any time from the same screen.
