Encrypted notes & tasks

Task boards and notes that stay unreadable to everyone outside the room.

Assignees, priorities, due dates, links and checklists — sealed with the same architecture as your files and messages.

Your roadmap is a confidential document. Treat it like one.

For product teams, studios and agencies who plan sensitive work and do not want a project tool to become the weakest link.

Built for confidentiality

Tasks per channel

Create a task with /task inside any channel. It is encrypted for that channel's members and nobody else.

Assignees and priorities

Assign owners, set priority and due dates, attach links and files — all fields sealed, not just the title.

Encrypted notes

Long-form notes and meeting minutes stored as ciphertext, editable on web, desktop and mobile.

Deadline reminders

Local reminders and channel notices when a task is due, generated from a content-free signal.

Linked to the work

Tasks reference messages, documents and drive files inside the same sealed scope, so context never leaves it.

Completed history

Finished tasks stay retrievable and greyed out at the bottom of the board, still encrypted.

Project tools leak strategy

A task board describes what a company is building, for whom and by when. Most teams accept that a SaaS vendor stores this in plaintext because 'it is only tasks'. In a competitive or regulated context, that board is often more sensitive than the files it points to.

Scoped exactly like the rest of DRIVUNO

There is no global task database. A task belongs to a channel or a direct-message thread, its key is wrapped per member, and removal rotates the key. Admins cannot browse the boards of rooms they do not belong to.

Fast enough to actually use

Encryption and decryption run in Web Workers with a worker pool, so boards open instantly and typing is never blocked by cryptography.

Frequently asked questions

Can DRIVUNO read this content?

+

No. Everything in the DRIVUNO suite — files, messages, events, documents, notes, tasks and photos — is encrypted on your device with XChaCha20-Poly1305 before it is sent. Keys are derived locally from your password with Argon2id and wrapped per member with X25519. Servers store ciphertext only.

How is this different from Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?

+

Those suites encrypt data in transit and at rest, but the provider holds the keys, so content can be indexed, scanned by AI, exported by an administrator or produced on legal request. DRIVUNO is built so that we hold no key that opens your content.

Who can see a shared item?

+

Only the people the item is sealed for. Every room, folder, calendar and document key is wrapped individually for each member with X25519. Removing someone revokes their sealed copy and rotates the key.

Does search still work if everything is encrypted?

+

Yes. DRIVUNO uses blind indexes: your device computes HMAC tags for names and subjects, and the server matches tags without ever seeing plaintext.

Is there a free plan?

+

Yes. The free plan includes 1 GB with the exact same zero-knowledge architecture — encrypted drive, Rooms, calendar, docs, notes, tasks and sharing.

What happens if I lose my password?

+

Because we cannot read your data, we cannot reset it. You can create a Recovery Kit (printable PDF with QR) when you set up your account and store it offline. Without your password or recovery key, encrypted data cannot be recovered — by design.
