Live Clone

Mirror a folder or an entire drive into an encrypted vault, continuously.

Point Live Clone at a working directory or an external disk. It watches, encrypts locally and uploads only what changed — with hash verification on every file.

A backup that runs itself, and that nobody else can read.

For studios and freelancers with terabytes of project files, and anyone who wants an off-site copy of a working drive without handing it to a readable cloud.

Built for confidentiality

Folders and external drives

Select a local folder or a mounted disk through the File System Access API and keep it mirrored.

Differential sync

Only changed blocks are re-uploaded, so a small edit in a large project file does not re-send the whole file.

SHA-256 verification

Every mirrored file is hashed and verified, and the console reports exactly what was added, changed or skipped.

Encrypted before it leaves

The clone engine encrypts locally; the destination vault only ever receives ciphertext.

Read-only sharing

Share a cloned folder read-only with a collaborator, folder by folder, visible in their Team Drive.

Restore on any device

Restore a full tree or a single file to any machine where you can unlock your vault.

Sync is not backup

A sync client propagates deletions and corruption. Live Clone keeps a verified, versioned mirror in an encrypted vault, so a mistake on the workstation does not immediately become a mistake in the archive.

Built for large media

Chunked encryption, resumable multipart uploads and checkpointed state in IndexedDB mean a clone of a multi-terabyte project drive survives reboots, network drops and closed tabs.

Nothing readable leaves the machine

File names are encrypted and searchable only through blind indexes, sizes are padded, and the vault holds ciphertext. An off-site copy stops being a new attack surface.

Frequently asked questions

Can DRIVUNO read this content?

+

No. Everything in the DRIVUNO suite — files, messages, events, documents, notes, tasks and photos — is encrypted on your device with XChaCha20-Poly1305 before it is sent. Keys are derived locally from your password with Argon2id and wrapped per member with X25519. Servers store ciphertext only.

How is this different from Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?

+

Those suites encrypt data in transit and at rest, but the provider holds the keys, so content can be indexed, scanned by AI, exported by an administrator or produced on legal request. DRIVUNO is built so that we hold no key that opens your content.

Who can see a shared item?

+

Only the people the item is sealed for. Every room, folder, calendar and document key is wrapped individually for each member with X25519. Removing someone revokes their sealed copy and rotates the key.

Does search still work if everything is encrypted?

+

Yes. DRIVUNO uses blind indexes: your device computes HMAC tags for names and subjects, and the server matches tags without ever seeing plaintext.

Is there a free plan?

+

Yes. The free plan includes 1 GB with the exact same zero-knowledge architecture — encrypted drive, Rooms, calendar, docs, notes, tasks and sharing.

What happens if I lose my password?

+

Because we cannot read your data, we cannot reset it. You can create a Recovery Kit (printable PDF with QR) when you set up your account and store it offline. Without your password or recovery key, encrypted data cannot be recovered — by design.
